Season 1, Episode 06: Rewards for Obedience
This week I spoke with Krystal, a beautiful friend of mine, about leaving her home 3000+ miles away and following the voice of God.
There are so many rewards for being obedient but also some challenges. She talks about the favor of God, leaving her family which is her biggest support system, and submitting to the voices of authority in her life.
We both challenge you to spend your own intimate time with God and hear His voice for yourself, as well as being obedient to what God asks you to do. He’ll never make you do anything because He’s a gentleman but we should desire to honor and be obedient to the call God has on our lives.
Quotes from this weeks episode:
“When I went to school I encountered the Lord in such a way where my relationship with the Lord was so personal and I learned how to hear Gods voice.”

“I didn’t know anyone but I heard the Lord say DC, when I heard DC I thought it was a vacation.”
“I don’t seek fame I seek favor with the Lord and I think knowing in my history with the Lord that he heard my prayers, there might have been others praying but the Lord wanted to teach me that my prayers mattered.”
“Learning how to submit and honor authority is a lesson that not many, and I’ll call us out, millennials, I think we have a had time submitting to authority.”
“If I’m not feeding my spirit first in the day other voices will and when I walk into work it’s only the media, the political voices I hear, I have to feed my spirit first.”
